“Commemorative #4”.  A framed serigraph print of artwork by Patrick Nagel
(American, 1945-1984) signed in print, published by Mirage Editions, Dumas in
1984.

Patrick Nagel created a series of fifteen posters that he titled “commemorative”
posters numbered NC01 to NC15 over a period of four years. The work is
representational of the look of the late 80’s. 

Description: Semi-Nude Female, art deco style.

Artist: Patrick Nagel. November 25, 1945-February 04, 1984. An artist and illustrator in the United States, Nagel worked with board, paper and canvas creating popular illustrations of the female form using a highly distinctive style deriving from pop art and art deco. He is best known for his illustrations for Playboy magazine, and for having designed the cover of the pop music group Duran Duran’s best selling album “Rio”.

Material: Framed serigraph print.

Dimensions: Sight measures 22.5” w x 35.5” h. Frame is 32.25” w x 45.5” h x 1.25” d. 

Condition: The piece is in good condition with some minor water damage to the base.

Price: $225.00, plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax if purchased in state.
